Today’s supermarket is full of processed foods, prepackaged meals, and pills with side effects a mile long. It can be a struggle to figure out what exactly you are putting in and on your body when you use these products. Companies are trying to confuse us even more with fancy marketing buzz words like “all natural,” “therapeutic grade,” “super foods,” and “artisanal” to hype their goods over their competitors.
At N8 Essentials, we believe it is time for a breath of honesty and we want to work with a market of informed consumers. We are pursuing a standard in our product that has real value. That is why our essential oils are certified organic.
Unlike the buzzwords used on some products, certified organic is a term enforced through rigorous testing and a demanding approval process administered by the USDA.
To be certified organic, the USDA must approve a product.
Farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations must grow organic ingredients. There is no use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge, bioengineering, or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled “organic,” a government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the ingredients are grown to make sure the farmer is following all the guidelines to meet the USDA organic standards.
If a company satisfies these requirements and can provide an organic certified plan and records of all its products, it may use the USDA Organic Seal on its products. To assure quality and integrity of these products, the USDA inspects every farm and processing center annually. Random inspections are conducted, too.
Unlike other oils on the market, N8 Essentials are certified organic. Our oils only come from the highest standard of organic farms; no harmful chemicals are hitching a ride on our products.
