Description

Cinnamon organic essential oil is stimulating to many body systems, stimulating the circulatory system, the immune system and emotions. It has an uplifting fragrance that is stimulating and can be used in moments of worry or tiredness. Cinnamon oil can promote positive feelings and feelings of safety or security.

Cinnamon bark essential oil has a long list of ‘anti-‘s. It has long been used as support for the immune system, the circulatory system, the muscles, the nervous system, the digestive system and endocrine system. Cinnamon is currently being studied for its effects on the efficient use of insulin, its cleansing properties on bacteria and fungi, its effects on brain diseases and circulatory issues.

Cinnamon bark organic essential oil in your diffuser smells amazing. Cinnamon scents usually conjure warm feelings of baking, family, holidays and home cooked meals. You can even trick you family into thinking you have gone to the trouble of making cinnamon rolls! Cinnamon essential oil is actually a serious supporter of our immune systems and aromatically is a very efficient way to deliver those benefits. Cinnamon pairs very well with citrus oils (orange, lemon, grapefruit) and other spice oils and is a fixative, making scents of other oils last longer in your diffuser. Diffusing these oils during times when our immune systems are stressed, during the change of seasons and temperatures, the holidays or when seasonal threats are giving our respiratory systems trouble. A little cinnamon essential oil goes a long way. A few drops in a 100 ml diffuser should do the trick.

Cinnamon bark (cinnamomum zeylanicum) essential oil is a ‘hot’ oil, sometimes called a warming oil. If you have ever had straight cinnamon essential oil on your tongue, you know it is hot! Cinnamon essential oil can be a very irritating oil so let’s talk about using it safely. Cinnamon oil should never be used on mucus membranes. It should be diluted at a minimum 1:1 ratio when using it topically. Cinnamon oil should not be diffused for an extended period of time or in a very small space. Please be careful using cinnamon oil on sensitive skin and always use a carrier oil.
